The Hotel Danieli in Venice was originally called
the Grand Hotel Royal Danieli and was particularly popular with
Europe's travelling nobility. Indeed every self-respecting young
aristocrat who came to Venice was expected to stay here as part
of their formal eductation or rites of passage. Venice was a compulsory
part of the Grand Tour of Europe and a place where young noblemen
could exchange tales of their travels and advice and give assistance
to each other when planning onward journeys. Today we can do the
same by supplying a list of useful links which should facilitate
your stay in Venice and help with your onward journey should you
be looking for any other hotels in Italy and in particular Rome
, Florence and Milan.
