History The Hotel Danieli has been the luxury hotel preferred by discerning visitors to Venice for generations. The Danieli is like a painting by Canaletto or a Wagner composition, the city that gave us Marco Polo, Vivaldi and Casanova is as synomous with pigeons is it is with water. The hotel’s main building is the original 14th century palace of Doge Dandolo, a Venetian gothic landmark lavishly appointed with pink marble, stained glass, gold leaf columns, Murano glass chandeliers and antiques and two other buildings, the “Danielino” and the “Casa Nova”, built in various styles. The Doge’s Suites have a size between 75 and 110 squaremeters, they are decorated in Ventian style and offer separate living room and bedroom and they have magnificent view at the lagoon and Riva degli Schiavoni.

Restaurant: La Terrazza Danieli the Hotel Danieli’s charming rooftop restaurant, offers delectable Mediterranean and regional cuisine that beautifully complements the breathtaking panorama view of the Canal Grande, and on the horizon the Lido Island and the Adriatic Sea.
